THE HISTORY OF THE DOMAIN
The history of the domain goes back to the early 1980s’. At the time, the “Pré-Seigneur” was a large collection of agricultural land. The Mayor at the time, Maurice Magnet, visualised the creation of a large-scale project comprising a residential domain, a school and a golf course, thus protecting the landscape of this area.
The construction of the “Domaine du Golf” was awarded to construction firm Breguet. The domain which backs onto the golf, was given the name “Domaine du Golf”. Even though it was controversial, notably because of its size and the fact that it was innovative for the era, the project was validated. The first two stages were built at the top end of the domain in the middle of the 1990s’, and the last stage was completed in the early 1990s’ at the bottom of the domain.
