Swimming Pool

The swimming Pool

2 outdoor swimming-pools enrich the life of the domain. Open from May to September, they are reserved for the use of the residents. The pools are maintained every day during the season and are regularly controlled to ensure they conform to official standards, assuring safe swimming.

The swimming pool is comprised of a large pool 18x9m for swimmers, and a small pool 8x5m, adapted for young children. Both pools are heated to 28°C for the comfort of swimmers. Sun loungers are available on a large part of the terrace around the pools offering residents relaxation in an atmosphere of calm.

The space includes male and female changing rooms as well as showers and a sanitised foot bath in line with the current hygiene standards.

Nature

The nature

The domain spreads over 24 hectares where nature is forever present. The streets lined with trees and hedges create a pleasant environment for residents. The “Parc de la coulée verte” invites you to go for a walk and the leisure area offers the choice between relaxation or sport.

The large square “Verdi” gives direct access to the “Pré-Seigneur” school. It is not only the heart of the domain but also a meeting place for both parents and children.

The schools

The domain is situated next to the local primary school “Pré-Seigneur” and offers privileged direct access for residents, making it easy for children to walk to school securely.

The school has recently benefited from a program of improvements to offer 2 additional classrooms, a reading space, a hall and an after-school classroom.

The local pre-school “Les Sables” is 7 minutes on foot from the “Pré-Seigneur” school via the “chemin des écoliers” or 3 minutes by car.

The middle schools and colleges (high schools) are easily accessible via different footpaths from the domain leading to a number of strategically placed bus stops along the main route.

For the youngest children, various solutions are available to parents with several creches accessible by foot (see the townhall website).

TENNIS

The domain has 3 hard outdoor tennis courts which are regularly maintained. The courts are readily available to residents all year round and allow the organisation of tournaments.

Access

the Access

Villennes sur Seine and the « Domaine du Golf » have direct access to Paris and Normandy thanks to the availability of various different modes of transport.

In 2024, Villennes will also have a station for the RER E allowing people direct access to Paris and La Défense.

The domain is situated 5 minutes from all the local amenities, stations, town centre, shops and supermarkets.

Villennes sur Seine

The « Domaine du Golf » is situated in the charming village of Villennes sur Seine. This small town is located on the edge of the river Seine in the department of the Yvelines. At only 20 minutes from Paris by train, we find the quality of life associated with the countryside. A haven of peace, hilly, rich in history and exceptional architectural heritage. The village offers all the local amenities: a picturesque and lively town centre, tree lined parks, a sports centre offering many different activities, a variety of associations and events organised all year long.

2 pétanque areas, renewed in 2018, are available to residents.

Friendly gatherings are organised by the domain syndicate for the residents.

Security

The security

The domain is completely secure since 2018 thanks to the installation of automatic doors and gates at each point of entry. Fencing has also been added in areas where access was open to the outside. The security of the residents has been reinforced and their well-being preserved by the reduction in the number of vehicles circulating within the domain.

There is a maximum speed of 30km/h and the main avenues are dotted with speed bumps to ensure that this speed limit is respected.

The local police also regularly pass through the domain.

Surroundings

The surroundings

The “Domaine du golf” is surrounded on one side by the Villennes golf course and on the other side by the sports centre, offering residents a large selection of activities close by. The activity centre and the “Parc de Marolles” are situated opposite the sports centre and are accessible on foot.
